My husband bought both the Hiker U1000 and 500 in December 2022 to have on hand for emergencies. Fortunately, we haven't had any prolonged power outages and only used the 500 for short power outages to charge phones, and laptops and to plug in WiFi! But we recently purchased a 32' RV which is in the back of our yard and what I am using as a "she shed!" I wasn't sure how to power it, so I plugged the RV power into the Hiker U1000 and tested everything out. It works great to power the TV, lights, fridge, and fan. I haven't tried the AC yet as it hasn't been that hot, but otherwise, I'm running the RV on the Hiker for 4-5 hours at a time and only using 25% of the battery. It's perfect for what I need.
